I’ve been to this shop multiple times in the past for vehicle programming and other services without issue. However, my experience today was incredibly disappointing and has completely changed my view of this business. I brought my car in to have an instrument cluster and headlight programmed. I specifically informed the technician ahead of time that the headlight was used and having issues and likely needed to be programmed. He agreed to program it and quoted me $350. After spending nearly 5 hours in their shop, the instrument cluster was successfully programmed, but the headlight was still not functional. The technician then informed me that although he “programmed” the headlight, it wouldn’t work due to a sensor malfunction. I was already aware of this code and asked if he had run diagnostics before performing the programming. He admitted that he had not. Despite the headlight still not working and no effective programming being done to resolve the issue, I was still charged the full $350. Unethical Business Practices & Poor Customer Service I took my Range Rover to Andy’s Auto Electric based on a recommendation, expecting professional service. My vehicle had an issue with the key not connecting to the push start. After an initial inspection, I was quoted $360, with the assurance that I would be notified when the repair was complete. Two hours later, I received a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup—but the price had suddenly increased to $610 without any prior communication or explanation. This lack of transparency is highly unprofessional. When I arrived to dispute the price, I was then told that payment was cash only and that no receipt would be provided. After insisting, I was eventually given a receipt, but the entire experience felt dishonest. The next morning, my vehicle developed transmission programming issues—something that wasn’t a problem before bringing it to Andy’s. I took my car to three different Range Rover specialists, all of whom confirmed that the programming was mishandled during the service at Andy’s. The best place ever!!! I recommend it 100% if you have a car who needs any kind of electronic fix and services? Dont go anywhere else!!! Nobody in Chicago area couldnt figure it out not even the Audi Dealership but Andy Auto Electronic fix it under 30 minutes 10 out of 10 stars Piotr and Andy are the best
